Jennifer is glad you found your way to her page! She is a certified Reiki Practitioner and Spiritual Life Coach excited to help empower people to heal and live their best life. Jennifer was born to Puerto Rican parents who were born and raised in Hawaii and is strongly rooted in the Hawaiian/Puerto Rican cultures from music, food, dance to family values. She has a big family and was raised that the door was always open and that family took care of each other. Jennifer took care of her parents in their ailing years and many of her nieces and nephews lived with her at varying parts of their lives. Her house was always busy and always full – just the way she liked it!
Jennifer has over 16 years working in education and throughout this time, her passion has always been youth and their successful development. She has especially liked working with the kids who needed extra support, someone to understand them, hear them out and give them some life lessons along the way. It was always important to her that she was able to provide the youth with a safe space so that they knew how valuable life is and that it is never too late to change their course in life and to follow their true callings. Jennifer firmly believes that everyone deserves a chance – someone who is willing and able to teach them life skills and make it clear that there can be a different path in front of them.
Jennifer got married in 1996 and today has two daughters, two son-in-laws (one officially) and one well-loved granddaughter. Her family is grown now and after being a wife, mother, and caregiver, she began searching for a sense of purpose and trying to figure out who she was during the second half of her life – meeting Reiki Master/Teacher Britt Yap, of Holomua Healing Arts, and taking several of her classes, has steered Jennifer in a whole other direction and has given her the purpose in life she has been searching for. As Jennifer began to learn more about herself, she found herself drawn to Reiki and how effective and powerful it is in healing yourself as well as empowering others to heal.
Because of Jennifer’s experiences caring for her parents at the end of their life, she is extremely passionate about helping other people transition peacefully out of the physical body and be a source of support and comfort for their families who are mourning and adjusting to a “new normal”. In addition, Jennifer’s greatest joy is helping teenagers and young adults heal their inner trauma and pain, assist with life challenges and have the life they deserve.
